FIREWORK

FIREWORK

The name of our necklace is “Firework”, we wanted to represent fireworks as a celebration that is reflected in the necklace through a strong, dominant and generous piece.
The necklace invites you to play with the multiple choices offered by the G-Silver website and its available diversity.

We have created a fusion of various silver pieces taken totally from the website (chains, findings, clasps, beads etc. …) with a contribution of material like the silk cord to blend in the mixture and incorporate the 2 colours which are blue and green.

The necklace has a very present shape that gives volume because we decided to put 7 lines of various findings with silk cords (blue and green) on one side, and on the other side 3 lines to have an account of 10 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of G Silver.

Knowing that the necklace is also worn on both sides, we chose 2 cords of silk thread of green and blue for the colour codes of the boarding to soften the whole set consisting of Sterling Silver.

Give us three adjectives that describe you.
Optimistic, perfectionist, generous.

Describe to us what your first steps in creation were ?
Do you have a short story or anecdote to tell us?
My first steps in creation were in textiles and buttons.
Every time I go to a place where there are pebbles (sea, mountain, beach etc) I pick up one or two pebbles for my travel souvenir collection but I found my boxes bland so I became interested in coloured stones and I realised my dream last year by graduating in Gemmology.

Do you have a creative project that has pleased you most in your personal, professional or academic career?
All the jewellery creations that I have had the opportunity to create have satisfied me and they allow me believe that everything is possible with a lot of creativity and ingenuity.

Describe to us what your first steps in creation were ?
Do you have a short story or anecdote to tell us?
My first steps in creation were with origami. As a child, my father made me an origami frog and blew it up before my eyes by pressing on the back of the frog. This is where I became interested in the art of folding. Then growing up I turned to other forms of creation such as sewing, and finally jewellery.

Do you have a creative project that has pleased you most in your personal, professional or academic career?
Thinking about it I do not really think that there is a creative project that I’ve liked the most (or least) that pleased or satisfied more than another. For me, every project that I do is satisfying and brings a lot of enrichment and fun.
